Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Remote UK
Work Status: Independent Contractor (6 month rolling)
Role Overview:
As an Account Executive, you will manage the full sales cycle for a patient recruitment technology solution, primarily targeting the academic research market. Your focus will be on prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.
- Develop deep knowledge of the clinical research domain, including study phases, designs, stakeholder roles, data standards, and regulatory requirements (domestic and international).
- Understand how the recruitment solution fits within the broader clinical research ecosystem and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Become an expert in the patient recruitment market in the UK.
- Identify and qualify ideal prospective customers, understanding their challenges in patient recruitment.
- Map accounts and stakeholders, tailoring the sales process to their specific needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, leveraging subject matter experts to enhance sales efforts.
- Clearly communicate the value of the solution, helping prospects see how it solves their problems.
- Demonstrate the software hands-on to prospective customers.
- Stay updated on product roadmap and new feature releases.
- Maintain excellent organization and time management by:
- Following up promptly with leads and opportunities
- Keeping CRM records accurate and current
- Regularly prospecting to build a strong sales pipeline
- Participate in trade shows and industry events to generate leads.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
