Accounts Manager Job Type: Full-time Job Location: Bridgwater Workplace: Office/Hybrid Salary: £40k - £50k p.a Based in Bridgwater this Chartered Accountancy firm has developed an excellent reputation and is undergoing very positive growth and the firms partners are looking for a key right hand support who can lead on the management and delivery of accounting/tax and wider services, along with adding value to clients on advisory and planning projects.

We are looking for a technically excellent Accounts Manager to help us manage a client portfolio in the Bridgwater office.
This role is the key interface between our technical team and our client businesses, which means that building and maintaining relationships with our clients is as important as managing the team doing the work; that understanding technical requirements is equal to explaining to clients why they matter.
And that knowing our client’s outcomes and how they change over time is mission critical for making sure we aim in the right direction when advising.
Client satisfaction and excellent service is crucial for us in this role.
What will you bring to the role?For this Senior Accounts Manager role you will hold any of the AAT, ACA /ACCA/ CTA qualifications, or have developed your career entirely through experience alone, with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to the managerial levels.
You will have an all-around accounts/tax career background gained within any of small, medium/large accountancy firm environments as an all-round general accountancy practice professional and you will be seeking a move with a career progression path on offer.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven accuracy and an eye for detail.
Ability to present information effectively and concisely in emails and documents.
Experience of working at an Accounts Manager level in an accountancy practice.
Previous experience in accounts preparation for limited companies and unincorporated businesses.
Previous experience in preparing tax computations and returns for limited companies, unincorporated business, and individuals.
Ideally AAT or ACA / ACCA qualified.
