New Directions works nationally with the most senior level executives and professionals who are seeking new opportunities such as full-time positions, corporate boards, consulting practices, business ventures, non-profit leadership, or alternatives to full-time work through our Life Portfolio Program®. Each year, 70% of our clients engage in new, full-time positions and 30% do something they hardly imagined possible.
Individuals work with us at critical times during their careers, including when they are in transition, anticipating retirement or are at a career crossroads.
The majority of our clients are moving on from their positions due to a change in management, M&A, reorganization or sale of their own company. Highly customized, we support their individual short and long term career and life goals.
Those considering a change of work/lifestyle often begin our Life Portfolio Program one to two years prior to a retirement date while mentoring their successors. They plan ahead and create new identities and engagements before leaving the company.
For our clients at a career crossroads, including returning ex-pats, the executive’s company benefits from the executive being more productive and less anxious. As a result, the organization can make more informed decisions and provide a smoother process for redeployment, retention or succession.
