Sector: Defence Location: Hybrid-Corsham Clearance: SC Length: 10 months + Job Description: DEFNET SharePoint Developer/Application Support Publisher for Modernization Project: • Take charge of individual tasks and actively participate in daily stand-up meetings with the DEFNET team. • Prioritize tasks effectively and manage personal deadlines. • Identify and communicate any obstacles, ensuring they are resolved or escalated promptly. • Foster relationships and collaboration with fellow team members. • Independently oversee project activities. • Provide valuable support to the DEFNET team in enhancing MOD DEFNET Intranet capabilities. • Exhibit expertise in SharePoint processes, including workflow design and development of additional features using SharePoint functionalities. • Leverage SharePoint in an Azure-hosted environment. • Maintain and update relevant project documentation. • Operate within the framework of a Modern SharePoint workstream. • Contribute to the project roadmap and stay aligned with ongoing changes. • Uphold agile practices and uphold the team’s planner and documentation. • Assist the team in testing activities as needed during release and deployment phases. Requirements for an Essential SharePoint Developer / Publisher in the Modernization Project: • Proficiency in SharePoint Publisher (with desirable SharePoint developer skills). • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Competent in assistant-level project management.
