Description
Field Service Engineer is required for a leading and established supplier of medical equipment. The Field Service Engineer will be based within the Bristol area to support the Senior Service Engineer in providing the interface with clients and Regional Account Managers to facilitate post sale maintenance requirements for Patient Trolley Systems and Operating Theatre based devices. Experience is an advantage although full and comprehensive training will be given. Salary offered £25,000 per annum benefits including company vehicle. Hours of work are flexible as befits the nature of the role. Key Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance related duties in line with quality processes - Ensure all maintenance objectives, set by the Directors via the General Manager are facilitated - Develop a good working knowledge of the company’s product base to achieve a high level of customer service- Maintain competent understanding of company’s products, their functions and alternatives - Carry out field maintenance activities to appointment in line with the quality processes - Complete all administrative duties accurately and efficiently and ensure they are returned in a timely manner. - Maintain, and provide feedback on, the engineers stock holding levels and capabilities - Provide a 1st line sales role to clients during on-site client visits - Regularly liaise with the Senior Service Engineer on service engineer related issues to help monitor departmental performance - Ensuring efficient time management by following the delegation of daily/ weekly/ monthly duties issued by the Senior Service Engineer or Maintenance Co-ordinator to meet the requirements of the quality processes - Reporting feedback to the Senior Service Engineer for the Monthly product review training- Reporting feedback to the Technical Co-ordinator for the Quality Meeting. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for carrying out maintenance on equipment, as prescribed by the company, and in line with its quality procedures. They are also responsible for monitoring and providing feedback on the company’s products on-going performance for vigilance purposes and acting as a ‘first line’ to client’s future sales requirements.
