An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for B2 B sales, driving customer acquisition converting leads into sales, generating new leads, creating bespoke packages, negotiating pricing and forecasting sales revenue.
They are the UK’s leading AI-powered B2 B publisher, with 26 AI-powered newsletters and websites and over 1 million subscribers across the portfolio.
The Role
You’ll take the lead on new business development, converting leads into long-term clients and tailoring digital media campaigns that deliver real ROI. You’ll work directly with the leadership team to pitch bespoke marketing solutions including display advertising, webinars, and content-led lead generation campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth through outbound prospecting (email, phone, Linked In)
- Sell tailored digital advertising and content marketing solutions
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and hit/exceed revenue targets
- Pitch to senior decision-makers across brands and agencies
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Data) to deliver successful campaigns
- Attend relevant B2 B events and exhibitions for networking and lead generation
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in B2 B media sales (3+ years)
- Experience selling digital advertising is a plus, but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to win new business and meet sales targets
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Resilient, ambitious, and motivated by results
- Comfortable working in a scale-up/start-up environment
- Salesforce experience is a bonus
