Contribute to the development of clinical governance and medicines safety services.
Support internal governance workstreams within the primary care contracting team.
Attend Community Pharmacy meetings and plan community pharmacy work programmes.
Develop specialist medicines optimisation governance and safety packages.
Co-ordinate support and advice to improve the safety and quality of prescribing.
Undertake quality monitoring governance visits and produce detailed reports.
Implement local and national governance policies and propose changes to practices.
Co-ordinate the production of guidance, policies, and procedures related to community pharmacy.
Facilitate partnerships for community pharmacies with multi-disciplinary teams.
Support the assessment and review of community pharmacy services.
Investigate medicines incidents in community pharmacies.
Provide medicines optimisation advice to patients, carers, and service users.
Maintain confidentiality of information and lead promotional initiatives.
Liaise with senior staff and share good practice across local authorities.
