Our client a CDMO are looking to recruit a Snr Automation Lead with experience in the CDMO or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing space.

Role & Responsibilities Manage and oversee the Automation and Computerised System Validation teams, providing technical and business support.

Mentor & develop team members Ensure there is sufficient competent resource to service operations and projects.

To define and execute the site Automation Strategy in line with technology roadmap and provide Automation Programme Management expertise.

Lead, mentor and develop the Site Automation Team and manage 3rd party suppliers.

To ensure all existing and new Process Control and automated Systems (PCS) are designed, delivered, and maintained in compliance with both company and regulatory requirements.

Ensure technology deployed drives operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Lead the site Computer System Validation Team (CSV), ensure that validation burden is minimised, that tasks are agile and consummate to risk Qualifications and Experience More than 10 years’ experience in relevant discipline More than 5 years’ experience of GMP / biologics manufacturing Experience in a range of plant control systems operation, design and installation Development of site strategy for automation and control
