If you are looking to develop from an Engineering stores role into a more varied role that includes Maintenance Planning and asset management, then this role could be the step-up you are looking for.
You would get to use the experience you gained in an Engineering Stores role for a manufacturer, or in an Inventory Management role in a machinery manufacturer to create the function from scratch.
You would be given a significant amount of autonomy to make the role your own.
This is a new position for the company, so there are no preconceived ideas or "we have always done it this way".
You would also get some extra Health and Safety training so that you can induct external contractors for site-based works.
If you got this job, your time would be split between setting up Engineering stores systems (in preparation for the IT systems implementation that is coming), managing the planned asset maintenance schedule and managing external contractors.
Monday to Friday, 5 days on-site.
£35,000 - £45,000 25 days annual leave 8 statutory days Enhanced pension (better than standard auto-enrolment) If this sounds like it might be of interest, and you have the Engineering Stores experience for a manufacturing business, then click "apply" and I will call you back with more information.
