What you’ll be doing

Collaboration to understand the packages of work for your team including how these contribute to milestones and/or project success

Establishing the necessary team size, whilst balancing strengths, skillset, experience and development needs of your team

Facilitating dependencies or requesting help and enablers for the team to progress

Contributing to strategy and facilitating implementation of initiatives

Supporting team members wellbeing and career development

Your skills and experiences

Proven experience leading and managing a system engineering team of six or more people in relevant product markets

Proven experience in assigning work packages and leading teams to balance quality, schedule and budget

Proven experience in more than one aspect of the systems engineering lifecycle

Familiarity with system engineering tools such as DOORS, Siemens Polarion, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, MATLAB and/or Simulink.

A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Scientific/Engineering subject (e.g. Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace, Physics or Mathematics)

The Systems Engineering Team

You’ll be part of the development and supply of products across a diverse mix of commercial and military platforms; Head Up and Head Worn Displays, Safety Critical Pilot Control and Flight Control Systems. We encourage our Systems Engineers to gain a breadth of knowledge across these domains to become subject matter experts in one or more product domain, or systems engineering specialism.
