We’re actively looking for an experienced and diligent Temporary Works Coordinator to deliver allocated TW activities for the KDP5 projects. Accountabilities Implement the Temporary Works Procedure (TWP) [C]in accordance with BS 5975 section 7.2.5 Coordinate all TW activities Key Deliverables Ensure a TW Register is established and maintained Ensure the various responsibilities have been allocated and accepted Liaise with Access Design Engineers regarding ALL required TWs designs Ensure a Design Brief is prepared appropriately and accurately with adequate consultation, and assign and appropriate Design Category to the TW based on the risks presented by the design Ensure that any residual risks are included in the design brief Ensure that a satisfactory TW design is carried out Ensure that a design check is carried out by the appropriate parties (for CAT 2 and CAT 3, these must be external to the Temporary Works Designer(s)) Ensure that the design is made available to relevant external parties (e.g. Principal Contractor) where appropriate to do so Register or record the drawings, calculations and other relevant documents pertaining to the TW design Ensure that those responsible for site supervision receive full details of the TW design Lead and foster a positive Nuclear Safety Culture Qualifications CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator training certificate Engineering qualification – HNC/Degree or 10 years equivalent industry experience Risk Assessor training DM 2015 Training Ability to achieve BPSS clearance to work in the UK IOSH Managing Safely preferred CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport Experience 10 Years' experience working within large scale projects Problem solver, organised, ability to prioritise and deliver within a high-paced environment. Commitment drive and the ability to work on one’s own initiative.
