The Bid Writer assists with the tender process for RLDatixs portfolio products in UK, Europe and APAC regions. The Bid writer is responsible for gathering, writing, editing and proofreading the content of tender submissions and must have an excellent comprehension of the client requirements and how best to articulate how RLDatix can meet those needs. They will work closely with a core team while bringing in subject matter experts when required, supporting the relevant bid manager and co-ordinating inputs and progress update meetings to ensure that all contributors produce high-quality tender deliverables in a timely manner. The Bid Writer will ensure that all the client's questions have been answered as fully as possible, and that the organisation has given itself the best possible chance of success. You will be responsible for: Co-ordinate day-to-day tasks of an individual bid, including submitting a completed bid to an existing or prospective client, on time and within budget Managing the bidding inbox and assist in identifying possible tenders Assisting in making assessments of whether to bid for a tender Organising and attend bid team activities including all relevant meetings i.e., kick off, win/loss reviews. Leading these meetings in the Bid Managers absence Gathering evidence to answer PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) questions Collecting data for bids e.g. financial records, product specifications Writing, editing and proofreading bid documents Contributing to the maintenance of the tender library in RFPIO and bid tracking tools Maintaining sales reporting information as required including the historical, current and future tenders Continually maintain an understanding of RLDatixs position in the marketplace, including a understanding of competitive products You will be able to demonstrate: Experience in bid writing and co-ordination Bachelors degree (Linguistics/English-language related is advantageous) Excellent English language writing skills Excellent research, writing and proofreading skills, with close attention to detail Can be flexible and adaptable while under pressure Good knowledge of Microsoft products (especially Word templates and styles) and technically astute to learn new software Excellent time-management and organisation skills Self-motivated, driven and used to working in a sales environment Language skills; English as a first language Desirable: Understanding of and experience in the Healthcare industry, preferably in software Experience with proposal management software such as RFPIO Experience working in the Healthcare, Government sectors is advantageous RLDatix is truly global, with offices in London, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Skopje, and Riyadh, allowing us to be at the forefront of global patient safety and Governance, Risk, and Compliance movement.
