Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our clinical services and oversee the development and implementation of high-standard mental health care.
This role is integral to our mission of providing comprehensive, innovative, and resource-optimised care.
The Clinical Director will be responsible for clinical leadership, strategy, and supervision across our community mental health services.
This is a part-time position (0.4 FTE) based in London with the flexibility to work online.
The successful candidate will likely be a Clinical Psychologist, Senior Mental Health Nurse, or an experienced professional in a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership • Provide strategic leadership to the clinical team, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based mental health services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Lead on the development and evaluation of treatment modalities, ensuring appropriateness and efficacy.
• Drive innovation in clinical practice while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Team Collaboration and Supervision • Support and supervise team members, fostering a culture of learning, development, and accountability.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize resource allocation and service delivery.
• Conduct regular clinical meetings to review cases, share insights, and align team efforts.
Service Management and Development • Formulate and oversee care plans that balance individual client needs with resource availability.
• Assess and allocate resources effectively to deliver optimal outcomes.
• Monitor and improve service delivery, incorporating feedback from clients, staff, and stakeholders.
• Develop policies and procedures to support consistent, high-quality care.
Stakeholder Engagement • Act as a point of contact for external agencies, partners, and service users, ensuring strong relationships and communication.
• Represent Orchestrate Health Services at relevant meetings, forums, and events.
Essential Qualifications and Experience • Professional qualification as a Clinical Psychologist, Senior Mental Health Nurse, or equivalent.
• Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC).
• Extensive experience working in community mental health services.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong skills in formulating care plans and determining appropriate resource allocation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health treatment modalities and evidence-based interventions.
Desirable Skills • Leadership or management experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience with service development or quality improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with online or hybrid service delivery models.
