Job Title: Commercial Manager Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 pa.

Main duties: Your responsibilities will include: Work with the Senior Commercial Lead and Senior Commercial Manager to source, procure, negotiate, and manage essential contracts and agreements for NHSBT.
Partnering with suppliers, internal Directorate customers, and international peers across the Commercial life cycle, to ensure that all interested parties' needs are met.
Ensuring compliance with Public Procurement Regulations including the legally mandated OJEU Directives and the Standing Orders and Standing Financial Instructions at all times.
Being responsible for delivering contracts that are robust, free from risk, legally binding, and importantly cost-efficient and effective.
Providing support to ensure that the organization can demonstrate to the public through the scrutiny of audit, both internal and external, that it obtains best value for money on its contracted non-pay expenditure and achieves savings targets.
Coordinating and planning their own work via a work programme.
About You Experience and Knowledge: Knowledge of professional purchasing principles (CIPS or equivalent experience).
Ability to build trust, confidence, and demonstrate integrity in advice and support.
Proven success in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Experience in identifying procurement areas for formal tendering.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Power Point).
Qualifications and Training: Postgraduate Diploma in relevant subject or equivalent experience in Commercial Governance to a post graduate diploma level.
Demonstrates commitment to own continued professional development (CPD).
