Job Description Family Support Worker Barnsley We are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker to join an established Children with Disabilities team in the Barnsley area.
This position is: * 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday* Initial 3 month contract, with the possibility of extension* Hybrid working available - 3 days min in office required The primary responsibility of this role is to undertake short break assessments, short break annual reviews, supervising family time, life story work, and provide support to families where needed.
** Driving is essential to this position so we are looking for candidates with a full clean driving license and access to their own vehicle with business insurance.
** ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS* You must have experience working with children, young people and families* Managing risk and an excellent knowledge of safeguarding and thresholds of intervention are essential for the position.* You must have a valid UK driving license A specialist, dedicated Social Work consultant offering single point of contact Exceptional referral bonuses An extensive & exclusive range of Social Work vacancies across the UKNationwide provider Social Work staff to over 200 local authorities.
