Plan and lead engaging sessions under the guidance of a manager. Develop activities that support children’s individual learning targets. Create and prepare basic resources to enhance learning experiences. Lead a small team of staff to ensure smooth session delivery. Communicate with parents, providing feedback on progress and discussing future plans. Support children with challenging behaviour, including physical behaviours, using positive behaviour strategies. Maintain a fun, enthusiastic, and professional approach to ensure a positive learning environment. Job Hours Saturdays 9-21 week in School Holidays 9-3 Pay Pay is between £20-£30 an hour depending on responsibilities. Minimum Requirements Experience working with children with and planning for SEN in an educational or recreational setting. Confidence in leading activities and managing a small team. Strong communication skills, particularly when working with parents and colleagues. Ability to handle and de-escalate challenging behaviour, including physical, with professionalism and confidence. A creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to working with children. You must have an up-to-date DBS.
