Business Development Manager - Berkshire The Role : This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager with a keen new business focus to join one of the UK's largest packaging distributors. With the autonomy to develop the territory as your own, but a vast support network behind you in the form of management and internal colleagues, you will devise a sophisticated business development strategy to hit the ambitious new business growth targets and have the drive and tenacity to put this into action and deliver results. Covering the Berkshire area, you will predominantly be field based. This role is a true new business position where you will identify potential new clients within the territory, develop relationships, gain buy in and secure new accounts, which ultimately you will hand over to the account management team. While you won't retain them indefinitely, you will work closely with them to ensure a successful onboarding process for up to the first 12 months. The role will offer you a varied remit, targeting clients within a range of sectors, and decision makers in a number of different roles and levels, so you will need to demonstrate the ability to adopt a tailored approach. Requirements: To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you must: Have an impressive proven track record working within B2B new business roles. Be able to demonstrate the ability to sell a solution not just a product. Be highly target driven, motivated, a great relationship builder, personable and credible.
