Essential Responsibilities
Macrae considers our collective intelligence to be one of the major components of our success. The Knowledge Manager works in individual local teams and as part of a global knowledge management task force. The primary functions of this role are (1) to work within a team of assigned recruiters to drive revenue and optimize recruiting performance and (2) to champion the company’s initiative of providing its clients and candidates with a deep knowledge of local and global market conditions and dynamics by ensuring that recruiters are armed with the most recent market knowledge.

The primary duties of the Knowledge Manager include, but are not limited to the following:
Schedule client, recruiter and candidate meetings, interviews and video conferences
Provide administrative practice support to 1 to 2 Recruiters
Capture, record and deliver the information needed to facilitate the propagation of market information to all team members. This includes coordinating and hosting team collaboration meetings to drive the next generation of new business
Work with recruiters to determine what reports, support, coaching, and reminders they need to optimize their performance
Collaborate with and support other Knowledge Managers throughout the organization, facilitate meetings to implement best practices throughout the organization, and continually fine-tune and improve this process
Organize, store and analyze company data as professionally and effectively as possible, while also safeguarding Macrae’s security and confidentiality standards
Drive business leads by researching market trends through Macrae’s database and other internet-based sources about candidates and law firms
Prepare background materials for candidate and client meetings
Ensure all components of database research information, including market intelligence, target lists, meeting notes, and other essential information, stay current for the purpose of conducting search activity
Run periodic best practices training sessions for the firm

Preferred Qualifications: Background in law firm, legal or executive search industries is ideal, as is experience supporting and/or interacting with C-levels; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required (JDs welcome). Attention to detail is critical in this role as are excellent written/oral communication and technical skills including the full MS Office Suite, and ideally experience with an Applicant Tracking System or CRM. Ability to work onsite in our London office 2 to 3 days each week with additional days as required for events, meetings, etc. The successful candidate thrives in a high-volume work environment and has the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines. The service our recruiters provide to Macrae’s external candidates and clients is white glove and client focused. Our Knowledge Managers must work with this same level of care internally and externally. The successful KM takes initiative, is highly responsive, flexible, adaptable, and solutions- and task-oriented.
