Responsibilities:

• The specific area of responsibility will be in building out their Risk proposition – primarily within the qualitative and non-financial areas of risk management, supplementing their quantitative risk management expertise to provide a complete Risk proposition.
• This role-holder will not only help to win new client engagements and grow new and existing client relationships, but will play a key role in delivering assignments, primarily in the area of risk management – covering UK and, ideally, international markets.
• This role-holder will help to leverage wider parts of the firm, including their Risk Transfer, Investment and Digital teams.
• The role-holder will also play a lead role in marketing activity, including thought leadership materials and presenting at both internal and external conferences.
• You will be a highly experienced senior actuary or risk professional, with deep practitioner-level insurance expertise gained in the UK, in Europe, or further overseas.
• You will have very strong knowledge of Solvency II – both in the UK and in Europe – and, ideally, knowledge of equivalent regulatory regimes, e.g. Bermuda.
