ABOUT US: Pineapple Contracts opened their doors for the first time in 1975.

A family run company, started by William Hathorn, Pineapple began making pine furniture for the retail market and traded as, ‘Pine Productions’.

In 1987, Pine Productions moved their focus to the healthcare furniture market, having identified a demand for strong, safe and durable healthcare furniture which avoided the ‘institutional’ appearance, common at that time.

With a new direction, a new name was required and we became simply ‘Pineapple’.

Pineapple, now a global company with headquarters in Kent (UK), have offices in France, Germany and the USA, still runs by its original ethos, and employs over 150 people worldwide.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The purpose of the Head of Strategic Marketing is to oversee all marketing activities across the business, ensuring global cohesion and consistency.

You will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, managing budgets, setting goals, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across various marketing channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Take overall responsibility for the brand and marketing strategy across all regions globally.

Develop and protect Pineapple’s brand identity as leaders in the mental health design space.

Provide leadership, support and motivation to the marketing team and set department and individual goals and objectives.

Create tailored marketing plans for each of our 4 key sales regions (UK, US, France and Germany) Oversee the management of annual marketing budgets for each region.

Establish and report on key marketing KPIs.

Collaborate with senior leadership team to uncover insights to inform strategy and content.

Collaborate with external parties on activities to further the brand’s reach and reputation.

Generate thought leadership content.

Take a lead on identifying opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.

Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features), Manage press and media relations.

Collaborate closely with the sales team and wider business to share and receive knowledge.

Work closely with senior management to ensure department aligns with company strategic objectives.

         Requirements Ideally educated to degree level with BSc or MSc in Marketing or similar relevant field.

Demonstrable experience of building and executing a marketing strategy that positively impacts awareness and pipeline growth, ideally on an international scale.

Proven experience in a senior marketing position, preferable within a premium brand.

   Experience running successful marketing campaigns.

Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Ad Words.

Experience with using CRM software.

Budget management experience.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team and set and prioritise goals.
