Leonid Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior associate to join the growing R&D tax team of an award-winning accountancy firm ! In this role, your passion for innovation and client success will shine through, as you play a critical role in unlocking the full potential of R&D tax incentives for their clients : Your responsibilities : Provide specialist advice to clients on R&D tax reliefs, including the technical, tax, and financial aspects of the relief schemes. Conduct thorough technical interviews and assessments with clients to identify qualifying R&D activities and expenditures. Preparation and review of R&D technical and financial reports for submission to HMRC. Help to establish and maintain strong client relationships with both existing and new clients. Provide advice and support to colleagues in relation to innovation incentives and tax. Stay current with evolving R&D tax regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices to provide up-to-date advice and recommendations to clients. Desired experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience as an R&D tax consultant or in a related tax advisory role. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining complex tax concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of R&D tax credit regulations, guidelines, and their application across diverse industries. Experience preparing and providing high-quality tax technical advice to clients and producing high-quality claims. Ability to handle a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.
