Salary: £50k - £60k(experience dependent)

️ What You'll Do
As a Senior Controls Engineer at AA Nottingham, you’ll take ownership of designing, reviewing, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems. You’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that meet client expectations and ensure smooth system integration.
Your day-to-day will include:
Actively participates in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish
Foster great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Produce, design and test documentation
Develop PLC, HMI and SCADA software
Perform testing with customers
Carry out on-site commissioning and compile training manuals to run customer training sessions
What you bring
Intermediate-level experience with major brands of PLC, DCS and SCADA/HMI platforms, with an appetite to learn new technologies.
Proven ability to interpret and create detailed control system design documentation.
Strong grasp of the full technical project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning.
Excellent time management and a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to make technical decisions independently.
