Ganymede Energy is recruiting a Gas Repair Engineer for a leading private provider of heating and maintenance services for residential properties across the UK. The company is the second‑largest in the country and currently employs over 350 engineers. Established in 1992, Ganymede Energy offers comprehensive, safety‑focused training programs and a supportive culture that values customer service and a can‑do attitude.
The Role
The role involves working in private residential properties to identify and diagnose faults in central heating systems, followed by carrying out necessary boiler repairs. The ideal engineer will have strong experience in boiler breakdowns, excellent diagnostic and fault‑finding skills, a high first‑time fix rate, and a solid understanding of basic electrical systems. Confidence in using a multimeter to identify boiler faults is essential.
Package
Basic salary: £51,400 + £3,000 guaranteed bonus in your first year
40 hours per week, with annualised hours (less in summer, more in winter)
Overtime available
33 days holiday (including bank holidays) with the option to buy, sell or carry over up to a week

About You
CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1 certification
Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
Excellent customer service skills
Proactive, can‑do attitude
Keen eye for detail and problem‑solving skills
