THE ROLEWe are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Commercial Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting, delivering insightful analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate will be a part or newly qualified accountant with strong financial acumen, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for continuous improvement. As a key business partner, you will support with financial reporting, providing a trusted and accurate source of financial data for past business performance and future projections. You will drive efficiencies by leveraging financial systems and tools, supporting leadership with data-driven insights. RESPONSIBILITIESRun weekly trade reporting Own month end P&L schedules, supporting with variance analysis and ensuring accuracy of numbers being presented Ensure accurate sales reporting at channel level and allocation of revenue and costs Support the Head of Finance with maintenance of rolling forecast and budgets, including data uploads for BI tool Prepare the board pack, collating slides from the wider team and preparing standard monthly files Work with technology team to ensure integrity of BI reporting and continuous improvement Support Head of Finance with ad hoc reporting and queries from the wider business. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONSPart Qualified (CIMA OR ACCA) with some experience in a relevant financial role Knowledge of or desire to learn Business Central Navision (BC/Dynamics365)Confident using BI tools for data reporting and analysis Excel ‘Ninja’ who has mastered Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Index, Match and the more complex capabilities of Excel Self-motivated and able to provide evidence of strong intellectual ability, work-ethic and drive to succeed in an every-changing environment Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills with phenomenal attention to detail and strong affinity to problem solving Willingness to take on duties outside of your direct remit – with our fast-paced culture you will find yourself working with demands and ad-hoc duties that require a positive and proactive approach Driver of change within organisations, always seeking the most efficient way to operate, and using technology to drive continuous improvement We are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion in everything we do.
