Trade Support and Clearing LME and Futures and Options - Middle office role The job holder will provide daily operational support to our clients and FO desks, primarily managing trade exceptions arising from activity on global futures markets.

The job holder will work closely with the LME Ring team, Softs, Industrial Commodities and Funds trading desk, Finance, IT, Compliance & Tech/Project Managers.

The Role Clearing Futures and Options Trades LME Middle Office LME Trade support Constant Monitoring of LISA across all Global Markets ensuring all trades are cleared in a timely and accurate manner to our client accounts Investigate and correct any top day clearing exceptions Any business not cleared through LISA is booked and cleared in a timely and accurate manner via Proprietary Systems into our client accounts Investigate any T1 trade breaks across all Global Markets Carry out any Post Trade Operations, applicable within the role To ensure an efficient service is provided for all clients Escalate immediately all potential operational risk issues that could affect the business from a financial, regulatory or reputational perspective Test and implement any new enhancements or new systems introduced To ensure all processes are followed and controls are adhered to and reviewed regularly Working closely with trading desk to ensure trade exceptions are raised and resolved in a timely manner Skills required Futures and Options clearing LME trade support LME clearing Knowledge of LME market and LME trade flow essential Experience of using LME SMART and (ATEO) LISA, or equivalent top day matching platform Knowledge of global Futures & Options markets and trade processing preferred (CME, ICE US, ICE EU, EUREX)
