As a Senior Contracts Manager you will take charge of key geographical markets from Africa, Asia, Middle East and Far East Markets. In this role, you will have full ownership of specific markets, managing critical customer accounts. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire spectrum of commercial activities, from bidding and negotiation to meticulous contract management. Your Main duties: Customer Relationships: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with customers, collaborating seamlessly with internal teams. Leadership: Lead and manage a team of talented Commercial Officers, providing mentorship, guidance, and overseeing their professional development. Agent Management: Oversee agent performance, reporting, and payments within your designated region. Deal Making / New Business Deals: Spearhead major bids, tenders, and negotiations, ensuring alignment with customer terms and conditions. Contract Management: Ensure the successful delivery of business in line with contractual terms. Contract Amendment / Dispute Resolution: Navigate contract changes, guide the business in understanding commitments, and expertly resolve disputes. Risk Management: Assess overall risks associated with deals, devise risk mitigation options, and collaborate with the business to implement sensible steps through appropriate contract terms. You Must Have: Proven supervisory and line management experience. Substantial commercial experience within the defense/military sector, preferably with MOD exposure. Proficiency in handling negotiations in international geographies Strong account management and stakeholder management abilities. Experience with deal structures, contract structures, schedules, and offset contracts. Financial acumen, including understanding pricing methodologies and models. Good legal awareness of contractual obligations. Willingness to undertake business travel in the UK and internationally.
