Forge Talent are currently engaged with a Market Leading business in Stockport who are looking to hire an experienced Interim Financial Controller. The role will be for 3-6 months with a potential go permanent. Reporting into the Finance Director, this role will manage a small team with oversight of all accounting activities across the group, including accounting operations across the transactional finance team. The role will be full time in the office and is looking to start asap!

Key Responsibilities

· Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any queries

· Budgeting and forecasting.

· Management reporting, P&L, balance sheet, cashflow statement and forecast.

· Support the business with commercial analysis.

· Mange relationship with external accountants.

· Year end audit.

· Reconciliation and consolidation at a group level

· Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively, identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures.

· Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including board presentations and statutory reporting

· Analyse financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management for optimizing financial result

Candidate Requirements:

· ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified

· Experienced in financial reporting.

· Solid communicator and able to present information,

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

· Manufacturing background ideally

Salary

The Interim Financial Controller role is paying up £475 per day for the right candidate outside IR35
