This is an exciting opportunity for Hardware Developer to join their growing Hardware Development team.
The successful applicant will work alongside our developers and business stakeholders to deliver high quality, secure and scalable solutions to the business.
The main responsibilities of Hardware Developer include: Simulating and implementing signal and image processing algorithms in VHDL for FPGAs; Designing PCBs using FPGAs, So Cs, high speed network interfaces and analogue; performing schematic capture using Or CAD; managing PCB layout, fabrication and assembly subcontractors; setting to work PCBs including writing test firmware and software; developing Linux device drivers for hardware.
For you to be the Ideal Hardware Developer, you will: have a good first degree or a Ph D in a numerate discipline; have a strong academic background typically including A's in A level Maths and Physics; strong verbal and written presentation skills; have knowledge of FPGA development in VHDL; have knowledge of software development in embedded C++ Candidates will be put forward for Security Clearance (SC) once the job has been accepted.
