SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST BIRMINGHAM/SOLIHULL (3 days per week) £80,000 COMPANY: We are working with a leading hospitality/retail business based out of the UK.

They are looking to leverage Data Science and Machine Learning to help provide better insights.

They are currently going through a strong growth phase within the Data team and are now seeking a strong Senior Data Scientist to lead their efforts across Pricing, Experimentation, and/or customer insights.

ROLE: Develop Machine Learning models, specifically around Pricing, Experimentation and Customer Insights to support strategic decision-making processes.

Innovate and enhance existing methodologies by creating new data sources, conducting rigorous testing, and fine-tuning of Forecasting & Personalisation/Search model parameters.

Design and develop automated systems.

Build customer-facing reporting tools with intuitive interfaces, providing comprehensive insights and metrics to track forecast/Personalisation/ Search performance and elucidate variance.

Collaborate closely with other team members outside of the core technical team to define project scope.

Present data in a clear and concise format, facilitating a quick understanding of inputs and outputs of forecasting systems and contributing to the continual improvement of their performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience working with Pricing/Forecasting/Experimentation/customer analytics in a commercial setting.
