I am excited to support a well-established Multi-Academy Trust in their search for a Head of Human Resources to join their team for a 1-year fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role within a dynamic education environment.
About the Role: As the Head of HR, you will report directly to the CEO and oversee the HR function across 9 academies located in London, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire.
You’ll be responsible for managing and developing a team of 3 HR professionals and will also contribute as a member of the Executive Team, participating in Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings.
During this contract, you will lead a key project to implement a new HR and Payroll system across the MAT, adding significant value to the organisation’s HR processes.
Location & Flexibility: This role offers a flexible working arrangement, with an expectation to work from one of the MAT’s offices an average of 3 days per week.
What We’re Looking For: Proven experience working within a Multi-Academy Trust or the education sector Experience in project management, specifically in the implementation of new HR and payroll systems across multiple sites Strong background in strategic HR leadership and managing HR teams within a complex, multi-location environment Demonstrable expertise in employee relations, handling complex cases with confidence A track record of delivering successful HR management in dynamic, fast-paced settings If you’re an experienced HR leader with the skills and passion to make a significant impact, I would love to hear from you!
