Simmons Adaptive is the flexible resourcing team for leading international law firm, Simmons & Simmons.

Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from Interim Lawyers with experience in the energy sector to join our client, a global financial services firm. The team will cover a variety of products across structured finance, trade finance and commodities. The successful interim lawyer will be required to advise on these areas and also support on joint ventures, lending arrangements, supervise document negotiations and lead on the negotiations for complex trading documents. You may also be asked to advise on netting opinions.

Person specification:

• You are a qualified lawyer, with training from a top tier law firm.
• You will have strong structured finance and/or project finance experience ideally within the energy sector.
• You will have strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate complex analysis in a clear and concise manner.
• You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
• You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
• You will be required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
