Maintenance Engineer Alexander Steele is recruiting a maintenance engineer for a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Herefordshire.

The successful candidate will play an integral part of the engineering team responsible for maintaining and optimising production machinery and processes.

Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a wide range of production equipment, including conveyors and packaging machines.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality Responsible for continuously reviewing systems of work within the team ensuring that safest procedures are in place Background Experience: HNC, HND or degree in Electrical, or related engineering field.

3 years of experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.

18th Edition wiring regulations Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.

Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
