Join a team at an exciting time, at the start of re-defining their systems, with the opportunity to influence and shape the product!Job responsibilities: Carry out goods inward inspections through to sub-assembly and final assembly inspections whilst verify that defined process is consistently producing product that meets all applicable specifications.
General electrical testing and basic fault finding Be able to inspect metalwork is correct to drawing Read both mechanical and Electrical Drawings Be able to test electronic and RF modules and be confident in using bench top test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyser, and Power Meters Support quality investigation such as root cause analysis, PPS, 5 Why...
Experience needed: BTEC Level 3/ NVQ L3 or equivalent qualified, ideally in an electronics or electrical field or may have equivalent verifiable experience.
Proven experience working as a Quality Control Inspector in an electrotechnical environment or similar.
Experience in a quality/inspection role in the electromechanical/ electrotechnical industry.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office package (M365) and willingness to Learn ERP package (EFACS).
Be able to test electronic modules Support internal quality audits and investigation, such as root cause analysis, PPS, 5 Why.
Experience in Debugging / fault finding on electronic products.
Desirable: Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous Operate a Network Analyzer testing RF cables, RF couplers, RF power dividers and RF amplifiers.
IPC610, IPC620 & J-Std Certified.
Experience working with ISO9001 quality management system.
Ability to run ATE system (Lab VIEW).
