About The Role, We have a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified graduate Radiographer or student Radiographer who is due to qualify in 2024, to join our team at the Bristol PET CT Centre in Southmead Hospital, Bristol.

For this role you must have a patient-focused attitude to ensure care is delivered to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

We are seeking a candidate who can be self-motivated and multitask whilst working in a very busy environment. A flexible, organised, and enthusiastic attitude is essential.

When you join us, you will follow our Graduate Preceptorship Programme during the preceptorship(training programme) you will gain experience in PET-CT over a 2-year period.

Alliance Medical have a robust clinical competency framework and can provide the essential training that you will need in PET-CT, to gain skills and confidence in this imaging modality.

You will be supported on this pathway by our mentors and assessors, training will be delivered “On the Job” and in collaboration with the Christie School of Oncology via the PET-CT training academy.

During the preceptorship you will receive regular incremental pay increases as you advance in your knowledge and skills.

There could be opportunities in the unit to train in MRI and CT after you have completed your preceptorship.

You will be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role.

rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannulation, Alliance Medical will provide full training.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Technicians, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.
