Secure Hosting is seeking a dynamic and driven Global Sales Manager with strong IT sales experience. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, responsible for promoting our hosting services to businesses that require data residency solutions.
The Global Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that meet their hosting requirements.
This is an exciting role for someone who is ready to use their experience and excellent client management skills to create and execute a strong sales and marketing strategy.
The position is remote and will require travel.
Duties & Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: o Identify and target potential clients in need of hosting services with data residency requirements.
o Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through networking, attending tradeshows, referrals, and proactive outreach.
o Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
o Negotiate and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Client Relationship Management: o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
o Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Market Research and Strategy: o Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes related to data residency and hosting services.
o Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams to help refine our offerings and strategy.
Reporting and Analysis: o Track and report on sales performance, including lead conversion rates, sales cycle length, and client retention. o Regularly update the CRM system with accurate and detailed information on client interactions and sales activities.
Education & Skills: 3-8+ years of solid, B2 B sales experience in a telecom arena with colocation, wholesale experience, data transit and transport.
Strong understanding of hosting services and data residency requirements.
Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Capability to establish and nurture connections with clients.
Knowledge of the Bahamian market and regulations related to data residency is a plus.
