As a Nyetimber Spirits Brand Ambassador, you will be considered a leading expert in the brand as well as English Whisky and the wider spirits category.
You will embody and represent the brand image and values with external and internal stakeholders and broader audiences.
You will collaborate closely with marketing & sales teams to increase the awareness of Nyetimber spirits with key trade influencers (e.g.
bartenders, mixologists, sommeliers, chefs) and drive rate of sale.
You will keep company with top industry stakeholders from whisky critics to journalists and bloggers.
You will inspire and drive desire with end consumers bringing to life the brand quality & heritage.
Your deep passion and knowledge in whisky & the spirits trade along with your ability to communicate and influence people will be key to your success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Master all the key messages of Nyetimber wines & spirits from a historical, heritage, vineyard, winemaking/whisky making, marketing and commercial point of view.
This includes keeping up to date with new launches, awards and vineyard/distillery activities as the company continues to grow.
Whilst you will specialise in Nyetimber spirits, you will be required to deliver the key messages of Nyetimber wines, too.
Initiate, develop and nurture relationships with key trade influencers.
Embody and represent the brand and its values at key trade/consumer/sponsorship events, dinners and staff trainings around the UK.
Deliver multiple brand home visits with key clients, stakeholders, influencers and consumers.
Create desire amongst key stakeholders and influencers.
Target and help to open doors to new key accounts, alongside the sales team supported with a CRM database.
Partner with marketing & sales teams to develop bespoke POS items, drink serves and sales tools.
Support in-market activities including new product launches and key events.
You will act as the in-house expert and will support the marketing team on channel strategy (bar, restaurants, hotels, whisky trade, B2 B, etc.) You will bring to life elements of the brand strategy by being able to compellingly articulate key brand messages throughout the year.
Provide marketing teams with brand/category expertise and advice to enable an effective commercialization of category strategies and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Essential: Experience in UK &/or international drinks trade.
Experience in supporting the launch of new brands in the on-trade.
WSET Spirits qualified (Level 3).
Ability to influence at all levels and build strong relationships.
Must be able to work autonomously and be highly motivated.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Passionate about spirits and whisky in particular.
Luxury familiarity and presentation.
Fluent in English as a first language.
Desirable: Whiskey market knowledge.
Passionate and/or knowledgeable about wine and sparkling wine in particular.
Any additional European language skills, preferably French and/or German, Italian and Spanish (desirable).
Experience in the hospitality industry (mixologist, sommelier, bartender, etc).
Graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
