Role : Residential Deputy Manager Location : Bloxwich Contract : 37.5 hrs p/w Salary : up to £35,000 p/a* We have a great opportunity for a determined Deputy Manager to work within our home in the Bloxwich, Walsall area.

With your guidance, the team will ensure that the children living within the home will have the very best care & great role models.

Essential/Preferred requirements: Level 3/4 diploma in Children and Young people or equivalent to this course.  (Essential) Experience of working with children and young people for at least 2 years in a senior/team leader/support worker role.

(Essential) Working knowledge of childcare and child developed through working directly with children and young people.  (Essential) Full UK Drivers Licence  (Essential) A level 5 in leadership and Management - children & young people is desirable.

(Preferred) The core purpose of the role of Deputy Manager is to assist the Registered Manager in providing an emotionally secure, consistent, warm, supportive and caring environment for the young people and to encourage their social, physical, emotional intellectual and moral development.

  * Rate of salary for this role once hired is £32,000 pa.

Once probationary period has been passed the salary will increase to £35,000 pa.
