We’re looking for an experienced CNS Project Manager to join our team at Datel London.
You’ll lead structured cabling and network infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to handover – managing site teams, subcontractors, budget tracking, design coordination and client liaison; effectively monitoring and presenting project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, on time and in budget.
- Conduct site surveys as required.
- Ensure documentation is in place and monitor project deliverables.
- Manage stakeholder relationships.
- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
Qualifications. Experience and Skills
Candidates should have:
- A solid background in structured cabling (CAT6/6 A, fibre)
- Strong commercial awareness and site coordination skills
- Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince2, APM or PMP certification)
- SSSTS/SMSTS certification
- Experience working with design teams and main contractors
- Experience working within ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
- Experience and confidence in raising RFIs, managing change control, and leading from the front
- Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills
- Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
This is a hybrid role - based both in our London Office or on site, working closely with Site Managers.
