We are recruiting for a Technical Project Manager to join a leading global business consultancy.
This team sits within the wider Marketing Solutions division, working with high-profile clients in retail, public sector, and hospitality.
The Team: The Location Analytics team specialises in understanding the dynamic relationship between people and places.
With a global presence across 50 markets, the team helps clients make data-driven decisions on where to open new stores, optimise existing locations, and refine their location-based strategies.
The Role: As a Technical Project Manager, you will be instrumental in leading client projects and directing consultants, ensuring successful delivery while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
You'll be responsible for: Leading client projects, ensuring successful delivery and clear communication Presenting solutions and strategies to clients, building strong rapport Collaborating with project managers and directors to provide valuable insights Developing and recommending strategies for location decisions, from city and town-level selection to the interplay between physical stores and online platforms Supporting the creation of client-facing tools, such as GIS models for scenario analysis Contributing to a range of projects, from performance analysis to advanced predictive modelling and visualisation Key Projects Developing location strategies for clients, including site selection and customer insights Creating and delivering actionable business intelligence through dashboarding and visualisation Building advanced predictive models to inform strategic decision-making Your Profile: To excel in this role, you’ll have experience in a client-facing or consultancy environment with a focus on location analytics.
You will have: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proven ability in project delivery and management, with a strategic mindset A deep understanding of geospatial and location analytics Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau Experience with data analysis programming (SQL, Python, R) Familiarity with ETL tools such as Alteryx is beneficial This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for location analytics to step into a senior role and lead exciting, high-impact projects for global clients.
