The Role Project Manager.
A fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Project Manager looking for the opportunity to join a business who can offer career progression and support towards achieving Prince 2 qualification.
Candidates will need to have had some previous experience managing projects, ideally as a Project Manager, with experience from within either the engineering or utility industry sectors.
You should be highly motivated, ambitious, with a high level of emotional intelligence and strong communication skills.
You will have access to a huge amount of technical experience and be given support as you grow within the business.
As project Manager, you will be working closely with a diverse range of clients and be responsible for taking them through the Project journey.
Although this role will be primarily office based, occasional travel will be required, and it is therefore essential that you have your own transport.
Responsibilities Projects and relationship management of clients and suppliers.
Data flow handling, exception management and reporting.
Data / billing query and query management resolution.'Hands on' direct liaison with clients, offering expert views and guidance to help them understand options and make informed decisions.
System updates to log activity on projects specified to enable reporting.
Contract development and improvement identification and implementation.
Attendance, contribution and input to client meetings as required.
Accurate and timely supply of project information so Finance can generate invoices.
Generate proposals.
Ensure client database is updated.
Requirements Previous experience of managing projects, ideally as a Project Manager.
Engineering or utilities industry experience.
Multi-client portfolio experience.
Strong negotiation skills.
Great organisation, planning and time management skills.
Strong IT skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and CRM systems.
Commercially astute and able to identify growth opportunities.
Able to develop strong, long term working relationships.
Prince 2 qualified or willing to work towards achieving it.
Based near Pershore, Worcestershire.
Salary £28, - £30,.
+ Bonus. Monday to Friday 35 hours per week.
