Are you a recent graduate with a keen eye for detail, a passion for problem-solving, and an interest in manufacturing and supply chain? We re looking for a Purchasing & Planning Graduate to join our team and play a key role in ensuring on-time delivery and smooth production operations.
About the Role

As a Purchasing & Planning Graduate , you ll support the end-to-end planning process from order input through to production and shipping. You ll liaise across departments, including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, to help deliver projects efficiently and on schedule. You ll gain hands-on experience with order management systems, capacity planning, and performance metrics, while developing essential skills for a career in operations and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities

Support the forward-looking planning function for all products

Input and manage orders, confirming delivery dates with Sales

Communicate effectively across departments to ensure on-time delivery

Monitor order management systems and produce performance metrics

Plan products through manufacturing cells and identify critical issues

Analyse capacity vs. workload and support team members during absences

What We re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Confident decision-making and accountability

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong analytical, numeracy, and Excel skills

Desirable Skills

ERP or production planning system experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX

Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

Understanding of machining or assembly processes

Qualification in Business Administration or related field

Able to build positive working relationships

Driven to deliver results and continuous improvement
