We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the day-to-day property and strategic asset management of a diverse and growing commercial portfolio.
The individual will have direct oversight of the commercial portfolio, including working closely with the wider Management, Agency and Advisory teams and other consultants as required to best perform the role effectively.
Key Responsibilities Property and Team Management Maximise rental income and minimise void periods.
Manage lease events (rent reviews, renewals) and tenant relations.
Oversee property inspections, repairs, and compliance.
Ensure efficient marketing, utilising modern platforms (e.g., web, social media).
Proactively improve energy efficiency and sustainability of assets.
Utilise property management software for compliance and data accuracy.
Asset Management Enhance rental income and asset value through new opportunities.
Evaluate and prioritise investments, ensuring cost-effective planning and delivery.
Build and manage a network of suppliers and stakeholders.
Explore diverse uses for the properties, from retail and leisure to education and infrastructure.
Manage joint ventures or risk-reward agreements.
Ideal Candidate Proven experience in property and asset management within a mixed commercial portfolio.
Strong business acumen and the ability to identify value-adding opportunities.
Knowledge of landlord and tenant law, and experience in lease negotiations.
Strategic thinker with experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
Ability to balance commercial decisions with broader portfolio goals.
Strong IT, financial, and tax knowledge, especially for investment appraisals.
Experience in property marketing and innovative approaches to asset management.
