The Role: Sales Director
As Sales Director, you’ll be responsible for the commercial success of a defined global customer portfolio. Reporting directly into the executive leadership, you’ll own delivery across revenue, volume, and margin—while championing customer value creation, enterprise transformation, and people development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & develop a high-performing commercial team, ensuring accountability, engagement, and inclusive leadership
- Build strategic relationships with key global customers at senior levels (including CXO), acting as the enterprise face of the business
- Deliver commercial results across volume, revenue, unit margin and cost management
- Drive innovation in customer propositions, value generation and retention strategies
- Contribute at an enterprise level , playing a pivotal role in business transformation, strategy, and cultural evolution
- Champion safety, compliance, and values , ensuring risk-aware, high-integrity commercial delivery
- Own cross-functional initiatives including ESG, restructuring and external partnerships
About You
- Senior sales leader with significant experience in B2 B complex solution sales, ideally within industrials, energy, or chemicals
- Track record of driving transformation and leading through ambiguity
- Commercially analytical, financially astute, and strategically minded
- Adept at customer relationship development at board level
- Recognised for people leadership, inclusive culture building, and performance delivery
