An exciting opportunity to join the VARLEY wholesale team as EMEA Sales Executive. The successful candidate will be specifically responsible for our independent partners in the country club, gym & studio and hotel/travel sector throughout the whole region. Reporting into the EMEA Sales Manager the candidate will report to be a key driver of new business within the region. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with excellent communication and relationship skills who is able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities to include;
- Management and growth of existing EMEA independent accounts specifically focusing club/gym/studio/hotel partners throughout the whole region.
- Responsible for generating new business opportunities via opening accounts within the region with relevant and aligned brand partners.
- Support sales team with wider departmental goals to contributing to overarching EMEA sales strategy.
- Presentation and sell in of four main collections a year and additional capsule collections from London showroom delivering exceptional brand experience.
- Ensuring all customers are serviced within relevant sales window either in person in showroom, on the road or virtually.
- Representing brand at the relevant tradeshows/ seasonal Paris showroom.
- Uk & European travel to accounts when required.
- Showroom and sample management.
- Management of sales leads and prospecting to maintain pipeline.
- Day to day management of existing accounts including order entry.
- Weekly stock sales to customer base, running updated stock reports and ensuring stock levels are managed and maximized.
- Ensuring new and existing customers represent VARLEY to the highest standard and remain brand aligned.
- Proficiency on Nu order retail platform, including line sheet management, distribution of order confirmation, sharing of available stock and ats lists.
- Order book management as above (cancellations, amends, confirmations).
- Ability to budget and forecast for account base.
- Understanding of partner KPI’s and ability to analyse relevant sell through reports.
- Working closely with Operations Manager to ensure all deliveries run smoothly and on time.
- Working closely with finance team to manage payment terms and outstanding balances with customer base.
- Reporting into Sales Manager with weekly sales updates and business opportunities
- Conduct brand training for relevant customers.
- Identifying any opportunities for social / marketing campaign pushes with customer base
- Relaying market trends and feedback and sales analysis to sales manager and when relevant design team.
Requirements
- Excellent level of spoken and written English.
- Desirable: Fluent in a further language, French, Spanish or Italian.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Desirable: proficient in Nu Order or similar retailer platform.
- 1-2 years minimum experience in fashion wholesale.
- Exceptional people and communication skills.
- Highly organised and able to work effectively towards multiple deadlines.
- Flexible to travel seasonally.
- Motivated self-starter who can manage time in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
