Employment – Senior Associate - (4 PQE) – International Law Firm We are seeking an experienced and driven Employment Solicitor to join our client, a prestigious international law firm, as a Senior Associate in their London office.

This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), looking to work on complex and high-profile employment matters.

Their Employment team is a market leader, offering comprehensive legal support to a wide variety of clients, including those in financial services, insurance, energy, aviation, professional services, and retail.

The team has a stellar reputation for handling contentious and non-contentious matters, including High Court disputes and Employment Tribunal claims.

They advise on issues such as: Breaches of restrictive covenants and fiduciary duties, particularly in team move scenarios.

Complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims.

TUPE matters in business transfers and outsourcing projects.

Multi-jurisdictional employment aspects of M&A and restructuring projects.

Regulatory disciplinary issues, particularly within the insurance and financial services sectors.

The firm also supports clients with day-to-day employment matters, including grievances, dismissals, redundancy programs, and managing long-term absence.

The Role As a Senior Associate in the Employment team, you will work on a diverse caseload, taking a lead role in: Managing high-value Employment Tribunal claims, including discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal cases.

Handling complex High Court disputes, including injunctions for breaches of restrictive covenants and confidentiality.

Advising on the employment aspects of major business transactions, such as M&A, restructurings, and cross-border outsourcing projects.

Supporting clients on workforce management issues, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, employee consultations, and redundancy programs.

Leading business protection matters, including team move disputes and regulatory compliance investigations.

The role also offers opportunities to mentor junior team members, contribute to business development initiatives, and build lasting client relationships.

The Candidate To excel in this role, you will have: A minimum of 4 years’ PQE in Employment Law, with strong technical and litigation skills.

Experience managing complex cases, including High Court and Employment Tribunal claims.

A commercial mindset and the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice.

Strong advocacy skills or a willingness to develop in this area.

A collaborative approach and experience mentoring junior lawyers.
