A long-standing engineering, design and sustainability consultancy, founded in the 1970s. They have a multi-faceted team including MEP, sustainability, vertical transportation, NABERS assessors, and energy and thermal modellers. They promote continued professional development and training, regular staff updates, and socials.

Your new role
As a Sustainability Consultant, you will lead projects and represent the company at client and design team meetings. You will prepare reports, meeting minutes, and other related documentation, and use software including One Click LCA. You will have excellent awareness and understanding of regulations and standards, and keep up to date with future changes. You will have high attention to detail in all aspects of work, and work as part of internal and wider project design teams. You will also assist in the training and mentoring of more junior staff where appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
The client are looking for a forward-thinking individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience of sustainability consultancy predominantly in the commercial offices sector. You will have hands-on knowledge of One Click LCA and an environmental consultancy background. You will also have knowledge and experience of relevant industry guidance such as UKGBC, LETI, RIBA, RICS and GLA. You will be a team player, but able to operate at an individual level, with good organisational and time management skills. You will also have good experience of sustainability consultancy in Stages 2-6 in the commercial, mixed use, retail, and industrial sectors. You will have a confident and outgoing personality, able to be client facing and build relationships with our valued client base.

Desirable: Experience as a BREEAM assessor, WELL AP, Fitwel Ambassador, Active Score AP, RESET AP, experience with Circular Economy strategies, and experience in producing Sustainability Statements for planning would be desirable. Having a UK full driving licence and being a member of IEMA or CIBSE or working towards this would also be desirable.
