Job Description To maintain our position among the Top 5 nuclear players worldwide , we are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the market entry efforts in Poland and position Assystem as a key player in the region.
Directly reporting to Guillaume , our SVP Energy International , you will be responsible for managing the entire business development process, from the early detection of leads to negotiating deals, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Market Development & Positioning : Leading the strategic development of commercial relationships between Assystem and key accounts in the nuclear sector, such as PEJ , PEG-PAK , OSGE , Energy Governmental Bodies , and the regulatory body PAA in [country].
Defining and implementing Assystem’s partnership strategy to position the company as a top player in the local market.
Identifying and pursue new business opportunities to expand Assystem’s market presence and ensure sustainable growth.
Client Relationship Management : Developping and manage high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including governmental bodies , regulatory authorities , and energy companies.
Overseeing and coordinating client relationships, ensuring that Assystem meets client needs while delivering high-value solutions.
Managing the negotiation and follow-up of contracts and agreements with key accounts, ensuring alignment with Assystem’s strategic objectives.
Sales & Proposal Development : Developing tailored offers for strategic customers and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead detection to deal closure.
Overseeing the preparation of bids and value propositions, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
Ensuring that order intake objectives are met while respecting margin and quality targets.
Collaborating with bid managers to support other proposals, and when necessary, act as a bid manager to oversee the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation.
Contract Management : Ensuring the negotiation follow-up and update of the contractual repository for key accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and maximizing revenue potential.
Qualifications You must hold at least an Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification and a minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management , Business Development (BD) , or Key Account Management (KAM) roles, ideally within the Energy sector , is required.
Key skills: Fluency in both English and Polish , both written and spoken, is essential for this position.
You can demonstrate the ability to work independently , with a strong sense of initiative and responsibility.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to effectively motivate and guide cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to present ideas clearly and build long-term relationships with high-level stakeholders.
You should have substantial experience in client relationship management and negotiation , particularly in complex or regulated industries.
A blend of strategic thinking and operational expertise is essential to drive results and contribute to long-term success.
You will also demonstrate diplomatic skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and tact.
